Stay Safe, Stay Away offers primary schools an interactive session covering the history of building houses as well as the variety of fantastic and varied career opportunities within the industry, as well educating pupils about the dangers of going into construction areas unsupervised. We delivered this session in October 2025 to around 80 students at Gothic Mede Academy.
Protect and enhance existing and new wildlife habitats within the site, protect species including hedgehogs, birds, bats, reptiles, invertebrates as well as native flora, and green open spaces which includes an ecological protection area, a childrens’ play area and a pond.
We’ve partnered with Your Wildlife Patch to help create a thriving habitat that promotes biodiversity and sustainability at Samuel Gardens. Our wildlife garden features a peaceful pond for frogs and insects, a vibrant wildflower meadow for pollinators, and fruit trees that provide food and shelter for birds. Nectar-rich shrubs attract butterflies and bees, while bird boxes and a feeding station support local species year-round. A dedicated composter turns organic waste into nutrient-rich soil, and a wildlife corridor links these spaces, allowing animals to move safely between habitats.
