Where do we want to be?

Operationally net-zero carbon homes by 2030

By defining our net zero carbon measures and establishing a monitoring and reporting framework for Cala’s operations, we aim to be operationally net zero carbon by 2030.

Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2045

We aim to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Scottish Government’s 2045 aim and ahead of UK Government’s 2050 target. Work is also underway to meet our target of homes being gas free on all sites started in 2024 and beyond.

Biodiversity action plan

We want to enable our customers to live sustainably in communities that support biodiversity. Our teams are developing a biodiversity strategy to be rolled out on all new developments.
