Land south of Crawfield Road, Bo'ness

Planning application submitted

Cala Homes (West) have submitted a planning application to Falkirk Council for residential development in Bo'ness.

The area of land sits south-west of Bo'ness town centre, and is located south of Crawfield Road.

The proposed development would deliver 188 private Cala homes, comprising a mix of 3 bedroom terraced and 4 and 5 bedroom detached properties, alongside 33 affordable homes. Almost a third of the site will be given to green spaces and landscaping, including a woodland area which divides the site. Various connecting active travel routes will be featured through the woodland area and around the development.

If successful, the development would also see the adoption of our Community Pledge initiative, which aims to create a bespoke plan of community support that will add value and meaningful benefit, including donations, volunteering, school programmes and much more.

As part of this, our Urban Wildlife Strategy outlines our commitment to incorporate wild-life supporting measures into every new home we build, such as bat roosting and bird nesting features, as well as hedgehog-friendly fences and invertebrate bricks for bees and other invertebrates.
