Emergency cover with Cala

For the first two years after completion, your new home comes with a Cala Homes warranty and a 24 hour emergency service.

Davies 24/7 provides our out of hours emergency care for issues that arise outside of normal working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

An emergency is defined as something that will damage property, cause injury, or prevent reasonable occupation. 

Cala will provide emergency assistance during the period of cover, where it relates to:

  • Plumbing and drainage – an emergency that threatens flooding or indoor water damage to your home
  • Electricity supply – an emergency resulting from sudden, unexpected and complete breakdown of
    the electricity supply to any floor of your home
  • Security – sudden failure or breakdown of external locks to doors or windows, which renders your home unsecured
  • Primary heating system – sudden and total breakdown of your primary heating system

Please do not refer routine enquiries or non-urgent matters to the Emergency Service. The operators will be unable to deal with them and your call may divert resources away from true emergencies. If you have a problem or query which does not constitute as an emergency please contact your Cala Customer Service Department.
